Recipe: Perfect Party Dip

This dip is a super easy homemade alternative to the many unhealthy processed chip dips you can buy at the grocery store.  The key ingredient to this dip is fresh dill.  You can easily omit the other herbs if you don’t have them on hand.  And, although it’s great with a variety of chips, it’s just as tasty as crudités.  I especially like serving it alongside sliced radishes.

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped scallions
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • A few splashes buttermilk
  • ½ tsp. sea salt

Mix all the ingredients together and let the dip sit, refrigerated, for at least an hour, but ideally overnight.  It will keep well in the frig for up to a week.
