VIETNAM | March 6-17, 2027 (3 spots remaining)

Plans have been finalized for Vietnam with Volunteers for Peace Vietnam. This is another first, and I believe the project will be really exciting; I anticipate that we will be building in a community in the north of the country. Registration is OPEN! Email me globalstaci@yahoo(dot)com. Team is limited to 8 volunteers. This will be an exciting chance to support a small village that is using sustainable tourism to fight poverty.

Founded in 2005, VPV aims to promote voluntary service as a means of cultural and educational exchange to as an approach to address social issues. Formed in 2010, TAWREF uses community driven research to create evidence-based interventions to transform the lives of marginalized populations, particularly children, youth and women, affected by abject poverty, the impact of diseases such as HIV and AIDS, orphanhood, and disabilities.
TAWREF’s Children’s Right to Shelter Project has been ongoing with Scotland’s Vine Trust, which has built 157 homes over the past ten years. In 2025 my team was the first independent team from North America to build—house 158!
