You may already know of my mad love for this country. If not, well, I am in love with Kenya – Nairobi’s grit, the Great Rift Valley, the Serengeti, even the crazy roads. I was there in March 2011 to build houses with Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village Program. I think a Kenyan safari should be on everyone’s bucket list. As many times as I have been on safari, I never get tired of looking for animals. You’d think, “seen one rhino seen ’em all,” but it’s quite the opposite; you just keep wanting to look for more again and again! In Kenya for safari I highly recommend Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, the Sarova Mara Game Camp in the Masai Mara and the Kenyan owned Lake Nakuru Lodge.
