An African safari is at the top of my list of favorite things. For me, the experience, one I’ve had many times, never gets old. There is something about being in a place that is so beautiful, vast, different from my daily environment back home, that moves me. Being so connected to nature has a way of rooting us, calming us in our core, shining light into the cracks and evoking quiet and rest. Once you catch your first glimpse of a lioness playing with her cubs or stalking her prey, you’ll catch yourself in a deep inhale until your body lets you know you’ve been holding your breath. Global Builders UGANDA | Bugiri
In February 2025 was honored to be a member of the first Global Builders team to build in Bugiri with the Fuller Center for Housing Uganda. Well-known for its biodiversity and abundance of wildlife, most notably the mountain gorillas, Uganda is indeed a beautiful country with friendly, peace-loving people.
