I’ve not spent more than one night in Connecticut my entire life, so this was uncharted territory. I’d never heard of Lordship, and certainly never heard of Point No Point, the beach along the Long Island Sound where The Surfside Hotel lives. Chattanooga, TN (USA) & Beyond
A short flight from Baltimore, Chattanooga represented another starting place to spread my wings during the heinous Covid-19 pandemic season of thwarted travel. Lucky for me, I have a few friends who are usually up for an adventure, and this road trip with just that. My friend and I flew from Baltimore to Chattanooga, hopped … Continue reading
1,000 Islands – Part 4 | New York, USA – Clayton
Final stop on our week long tour of the Thousand Islands was a small town on the waterfront on the US side. 1,000 Islands – Part 2 | Ontario, CANADA – Kingston, Wolfe Island

We only spent two nights here, but could have done three, or spent one of the nights on Wolfe Island (see below). Again, we rented a house on Airbnb, which allowed us to be … Continue reading

My friend and I piled 4 kids into her Chevy Suburban, loaded down with bags and groceries, armed with DVDs and iPads and embarked on our eight hour drive northwest of Baltimore. Road Trip! [PRO TIP: Be prepared to be grilled at the boarder crossing especially if you have … Continue reading
